4th of July

I am a little slow in updating. For the fourth of July we didn't do much. It was just to hot. We decided to do fireworks because by then it would have cooled of a little.

Caleb didn't want his picture taken. Probably because we said we were taking pictures of the girls so cute and according to him he isn't cute he is normal.

such loving sisters

My kids are always good for the cheese

Charlotte just saw this picture and said cute Mommy, oh I'm glad for such a sweet girl

We went to a mall parking lot to watch six flags' fire works. We ended up being super close.

Vacation Time

We had to take advantage of Sams leave time and enjoy some of the sites in Texas.

First We went to Wicked at the Majestic Theater. It was so good. We were way up in the balcony, but it was worth it. Thanks Liz for babysitting.

Wednesday we drove to Houston and enjoyed an evening swimming and resting in the hotel.

Thursday We went to NASA's Johnson Space Center. We were lucky and got half price tickets. It was really neat and Caleb really learned a lot.

Friday we went down to Galveston. Here are Sam, Samantha, Caleb and Charlotte. Charlotte was quite brave, she ran into the waves, something she would never do before.

What trip of sites in Texas would be complete without a stop at Grandma and Grandpas
We went and spent a few days, including Fathers Day with Sams parents. To round out the vacation Chelle came and picked the kids up and they are enjoying their own vacation with their cousins

Children's Museum

We went to the Children's Museum in downtown San Antonio today. It was a lot of fun. We got to make a giant bubblw that engulfed us, have fun with gravity balls, making goo, and a lot of other fun things. This is my first attempt at a You Tube video. I hope you enjoy it.

Caleb is in the Scienc Fair

This past week Caleb entered the science fair at school. It took some work to finally get it done, but with a little help he did it. He told me what to write (we used PowerPoint to put it together), and he picked out the pictures from Google image search. We finished up by taking some pictures of his project and adding it to the poster. His project was on the Maglev train and how it levitates using magnets, so mostly it was about how magnets work. He did a very good job and was one of only 2 first graders to enter.

Economic Stimulus Package

Memorial day weekend we did our part to get the cash flowing in this economy. Unfortunately the money flowing was out of our checking account. Below are the rewards of our endeavor.

This is Caleb's room.

This is Charlotte's new room. With the new baby coming we needed to rearrange our family. This is what got us thinking about getting bedroom furniture.

This is our bedroom, we have a bed (with a headboard and footboard) for the very first time.

6 Months

Emily has now crossed the 6 month mark for the latest addition to our family. Our little girl will join our family in the first weeks of August (hopefully a little earlier). Emily looks really good. You can hardly tell that she is pregnant.

Well, that is until you see her in profile.

Here is Samantha at our playgroup egg hunt. She really liked the eggs, but didn't get picking them up.

Here is Charlotte at the same place. She totally got it and had a ball.

Caleb was very excited about easter.

This isn't Easter, but I was the photographer on Easter. This is my Birthday. We had a great dinner and I got the wicked soundtrack and the new U2 CD.
